He Did Good in the Eyes of Lord/He Did Evil in the Eyes of The Lord!

He Did Good in the Eyes of Lord/He Did Evil in the Eyes of The Lord!

Reading the books of Kings, it is interesting how the Lord points out the main point in the beginning of describing everyone. The person/man, either did good in the eyes of the Lord, or the man did evil in the eyes of the Lord. It makes clear that God watched everything those people/kings did, every day of their life. That means, he is watching us every day of our life. Wow! That should help us all control our behavior. It actually explains a lot. Either a person is living their life knowing God is watching them every day, every hour. Or, a person lives their life not even thinking, not caring that God is watching them. That is one of the difference in mankind. This is also a leadership observation. God mostly did this type assessment on the leaders of the nation!

2 Kings 15:1-3

“In the twenty and seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel began Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah to reign.”
“Sixteen years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned two and fifty years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jecholiah of Jerusalem.”
And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah had done;”

2 Kings 15:27-28

“In the two and fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekah the son of Remaliah began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned twenty years.”

“And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.”
